That is a good place to start with VASO. There is no routine to keep up with and no expectation that you will attend something every month. Explore when it is useful. Come back when you are ready.
Start with what interests you
VASO brings together business events, networking opportunities and experiences worth considering. Use the Event Finder to explore by location, event type, sector, audience and date. A breakfast close to home, an industry exhibition or a more relaxed social event might each serve a different purpose.
You can browse events and view their details without joining. When something catches your eye, follow the organiser's link for the latest information and booking arrangements. VASO helps you discover opportunities; the organiser runs the event.
Join when you want more connection
Membership is free. It gives you a place in the community: create a profile, discover other members and join or create groups around shared interests. You can tell us about the events and locations that interest you, helping us understand what relevant updates should look like as VASO develops.
There is no need to present a polished networking persona. Founders, directors, entrepreneurs and ambitious professionals all have different reasons for being here. Being curious and open to a conversation is enough.
Why is it free?
VASO's model is to keep membership and standard event listings free, supported by business partners. Digity is our current Digital Marketing Partner. An event you discover may still have its own ticket price, set by its organiser; free VASO membership does not mean every event is free to attend.
Think of VASO as a useful door you can open, rather than another diary commitment. Discover something interesting. Connect if it feels right. See what comes from it.
